End of March!

I've been stressed out lately so what do I do? I shop. Well at least things were on sale and I used coupons. Nice justification.

Stuff from Ulta. some Borghese minis and new limited edition colors. Some Rimmel, Piggy Polish and Chi on clearance YAY!! And a Konad knock-off little set from this brand called Essence.


This stuff from Zoya. Used a code to get a free Remove+, which is my fave polish remover.
The polishes are Charla, Mimi, Jo and Perrie.


I'm hoping to do some swatching soon. Now that the rain is gone!!!

And just because I like to see progress. Here's a pic of my 3rd (used up) Urban Decay De-Slick pressed powder. I love this stuff. Just started on my 4th compact, but they just came out with a liquid form of it and I'm waiting for a sample to try out. Isn't it so satisfying to see the pan? Yes it is. ;)

Week of March 21 - 27, 2010.

OPI Jade Is The New Black. My favorite this week.


Rimmel Marine Blue.


Pop Beauty Grass. Not sure why the color on my ring finger looks different than the rest.


Then added Konad Image Plate M73 in black.


Here's a bonus pic taken by my husband with his super nice professional camera! Hopefully I'll be able to use his camera soon when he builds me a light box (YAY). The color is more true to life.

One More Time.

Ok seriously this is it. This is my last Lush haul in a bit. I had to go back and get myself the yellow Easter egg! I had a coupon and they were having an event too so at least I got some freebies and a bit of a discount.

Here's the whole thing. (might have to click on the pic to see the whole thing)


That's the Yellow Easter Egg, then they had a couple of retro things too Flosty Gritter and Happy Birthday bubble bars and the last column there was all freebies! YAY! Geofizz bath bomb, You Snap The Whip body butter, Dark Angels face cleanser, a shower jelly named something I forgot, and Each Peach Massage Bar.

So here's what the egg looks like inside. That's Ma Bar bubble bar and Honey I Washed The Kids soap.


And then I opened up the pink one because I was told you need to take these out of the cellophane wrapping if not they'll turn brown.


Look at how big these are. Can't wait to use these.

Week of March 14 - 20, 2010.

This week I didn't know what to do with my nails so me and my friend Aquilah decided to do twin NOTDs all week. Amazingly enough we both owned the same polishes and hadn't used them yet.

Zoya Savita. I love matte polishes. I love that they look awesome and that they dry fast, but I don't love that they chip so easily. See my pinky. Chipped and that was just about 9 hours of wear....and my other hand was worse.

That was the end of twin week.

One more day for this week. Was taking my cousin's kids to the circus so I chose OPI Absolutely Alice. This picture sucks but I couldn't do any better with the lighting I had. It was so pretty and sparkly.

Lush Easter 2010.

So yes more Lush nonsense! LOL This is my last Lush haul for a long time (well big one at least). I was just waiting for the Easter stuff to hit the stores. So here's what I got.



Top is Hippy Chick Bath Bomb (grapefruit scented), Fluff Egg Bath Bomb (candy scented).
Bottom is Dorothy Bubble Bar (ylang and fig scented), Honey Bun Bath Bomb (caramel toffee scented).

My fave one of those is definitely the Honey Bun ....OMG it smells like I wanna eat it!!!

Then the thing I really wanted was this....

It's called The Pink One Easter Gift, and it's a HUGE (bigger than my hand and I have a big hands) bath bomb shaped like an egg as you can see and inside are two items; Rock Star soap and Creamy Candy Bubble Bar. OMG it smells sooooooooooooooo amazing!!!! I love this scent and I'm super excited about the giant egg bomb!!! I'll have to break it into many chunks for many baths!

They also have another big egg called The Yellow One Easter Gift. Scented in chocolate and toffee, with two items inside as well. This is why I might have to go to Lush again one more time. LOL

Week of March 7 - 13, 2010.

I continued with mint green this week but I think I've had it. LOL

Piggy Polish Poet-Tree. This is more accurate than the next picture.

China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint. This picture is more accurate than the next one also.


Added Konad Gold Black polish, image plate M51


Nicole Hint of Mint. This was the lightest and sheerest of the ones I used this week. Also might have been my favorite.


Last one for this week. Claire's Dream Catcher. I like this one a lot. Has very subtle gold shimmer. Wish we had some sun so I could possibly get it in the pics. It's also a lot more green than in this pic. But as I said there's no sun and it's a crappy day out so this is the best I got.

Mid-Week Random Swatches.

Chelsea Purple Dragon. I don't like this color...not even on my toes!



NYC Park Avenue. Pretty and subtle but nothing special.


Pink Cookie no name (steel gray). I found a set of these polishes at Ross for like $6...They're ok...nothing great. I think there were 7 in the set and I ended up only keeping 2.

Week of February 28 - March 6, 2010.

I have a lot of mint green polishes I need to use so I thought I would do a week of them.

I started off with Diamond Cosmetics Seafoam Spray. This has a bit of gold in it. The color is so pretty but the formula sucks. It was streaky and wouldn't dry all the way. I ended up doing my nails about 4 times. I'm going to have to get rid of this one.


Maybelline Minty. Love this color and applied so well.


Long time no Konad! I need to get back into it because I think I've lost my technique LOL. Konad green polish, Image plate M76 over Maybelline Minty.


American Apparel Office. Not sure about the formula. I'm going to have to try the other polishes I have in this brand to see if I like it.



Last one for this week was Borghese Stellare Notte. Not a minty color, I needed a break from that. I couldn't take pics in the sunlight which sucks cause this color is amazing, black, purple, green...so pretty!


Added Konad Image Plate M76 with Orly Luxe. It's pretty and subtle. I like. Too bad for the crappy lighting.

Lush Canadiana.

Lush came out with a limited edition pre-wrapped gift for the winter Olympics. It was called Canadiana and here's what it looks like.


In it was Canadian Maple Soap and Mountie Bar Massage Bar. I mainly wanted this for the massage bar cause I love Lush's massage bars!!! And look at how cute it is.


I was so excited cause the description for the massage bar was "creamed coconut and jasmine". Sounds good right? Well it isn't! :( It stinks!!!! I'm so sad and disappointed. I'm hoping maybe if I store it with some other stuff that smells good maybe it'll absorb some of the good scents. LOL

Oh yeah and the soap is so stinky too! It really does smell like maple syrup which isn't gross but for some reason it stinks as a soap.
