Another Little Giveaway.

    The second guestion is bit difficult. I'm from finland and I'm not sure if the terms are right. My two favourite christmas foods are Rosolli salad (the dictionary said that it was same in finish as english) and creamed potatoes baked in oven. There has to be a better word for it but I didn't find.

    Favorite holiday food.. this is tough. Although it might be cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate - while I do eat both of these all year, it has become the staple Christmas morning breakfast at my parents house, and I love it! I also really love chocolate covered cherries, which we only get around the holidays. :)

    My favorite holiday food is definitely my dad's Christmas soup. It's a mixture of vegetables and macaroni noodles in a creamy soup that you eat with some Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. It's SO good, and he only ever makes it during the holidays.

    My favorite holiday food must be shrimp cocktail. I know it's not traditional, but to our family it is! I've always been a weird child in food ways (I ate a lot of foods that many kids don't like, for example shrimps and olives). For Christmas my mom often made shrimp cocktail and I still love it.

    Favorite holiday food/drink is eggnog (but I've become lactose intolerant as an adult and can't drink it - LOL! Lactad tablets don't help and I just don't care for the "soy" version. Oh well. I will survive *starts to sing* ;-)

    I don't know if you would consider it a winter food or not, but my favorite hot comfort food is definitely homemade macaroni and cheese. :) My boyfriend and I have honed our multiple tried recipes down to a perfect science. We alter the cheese all the time to get different results. I call it Super Mac. <3

    My favorite holiday food is pretty much anything with chocolate. I love that around Christmas time those special Hershey kisses come out. I also love those handmade powdered sugar donuts that my great-grand-mother used to make when I was a kid.
