As The World Stops Turning.

It's a sad day for me (probably for many others too), my favorite soap opera ended today. I haven't watched the final episode yet...I'm sort of saving it for later just to enjoy it and prolong it a little more.  I've been watching this show for over 20 years!!! HAHA yes...crazy I know but really I started watching it when I was around 12 or 13 years old. Just one lazy summer I saw a cute boy on tv and from then on I was hooked. I used my VCR to tape it back then and now DVR I also took breaks from watching but I'd always get drawn back into it. The characters are/were like "family" LOL It was my guilty pleasure...something I didn't have to really think about or anything..just pure entertainment.  For today I decided to go with a polish that reminded me of a pretty sparkly world.

So pretty huh? I really love it. It's purple, blue and green all in one. So gorgeous.

  2. Oh wow... I used to watch that show with my grandmother during the summer and when I was sick back when I was seven. I stopped watching it about age eleven for many years and picked it up for a few more when i was in my early twenties. Wow... I had no idea it was still one, or that it was ending. How sad. That was like a guilty pleasure for sure!

    Pretty polish btw. Love how it changes colors.

  3. I heard it on the news yesterday, nooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I hate soaps, but THAT one I watch every single day after work.. BUT fortunately the airing of the episodes in The Netherlands is so extremely behind they predicted that we will see the last episode in ... 2012 LOL!

    I used to watch GH and Days really didn't keep up with it. Oh I also watched Santa Barbara. Ahhh I miss those summers off when we could watch soaps and Jenni Jones.

  10. I also was an As the World Turns fan for over 20 years and so saddened that it is no more. I also haven't watched the finale...for the same reason as you...just to prolong it because I don't want it to end. :o(
